She appreciated this initiative of the fire department as a step towards ensuring ease of doing business.
CM said that the Delhi government is working extensively on modernizing the fire department, expanding rapid response systems, and further strengthening security across the city.
In the recent past, several reforms have been initiated in the fire services, aimed at modernizing and making it future-ready with induction of the latest technology.
Advanced firefighting equipment is being added to the service to make it more efficient in dealing with situations, especially keeping in view the narrow lanes and congested areas, where it becomes difficult for the emergency services to reach.
Delhi minister Ashish Sood was also present on the occasion, along with senior officials concerned. Earlier, the minister had said that the goal is to provide modern services to the people of Delhi while ensuring the utmost safety of the fire personnel.
